Her mother was an incredible storyteller, among other things. When M'laiboli was young, she would sit in her mother's lap and watch starry-eyed as her mother would spin vivid tales of the lands beyond the Peering Stones. It was a common practice within the women of their family: to leave the tribe when they came of age to hone their craft and then return to share the knowledge they gained amongst the rest of their people. It was on that journey that M'laiboli's mother became one of the most skilled hunters of their tribe. Even after she mated with the tribe's Nunh and settled down with her own children, M'laiboli's mother continued to outrank even the tribe’s most skilled Tias. Everything about her inspired M'laiboli to want more, to be more. She could sit and listen to her mother speak of her travels for hours, enthralled by descriptions of lush green forests, endless seas, and glittering monuments. M'laiboli would often wonder why her mother would want to return, at all.But, even if M'laiboli's mother had wanted to travel again, it wasn't long after M'laiboli's youngest sister was born that a strange sickness would set in. None of their tribe's healers could find its source, and all who promised a cure failed. All they could do was help her mitigate the effects and hope that would be enough. M'laiboli watched though, as her mother refused to let the disease hold her down. She continued to spearhead the tribe hunts and raise her children, remaining a pillar of their tribe to her dying breath.For M'laiboli, there was no greater aspiration. Even as her eldest brother trained to become Nunh, as her younger sister drifted towards the dancers of Ul'dah, and as her baby sister became fascinated with magic, M'laiboli still wanted nothing more than a bow in her hand and her prey beneath her. M'laiboli would make her mother proud, determined to pick up the mantle that her mother left behind. Thus, the moment M'laiboli was old enough, she left her tribe to take the same journey her mother had--beginning with the far off forests of Gridania and the Archer’s Guild that would await her there. M'laiboli became single-minded in this pursuit, to become a greater hunter than even her mother was. And she would refuse to let anyone stand in her way.

  • Whoops! Didn't See You There - Despite her diligent determination, it's hard not to feel drowsy under the heat of the warm summer sun. So, it's not too uncommon to find M'laiboli taking a quick cat-nap in a nice cozy place in the forest. While she'll initially be in a foul mood if you wake her up, she's easily calmed and quick to forgive.

  • Two Heads Are Better Than One - While the thrill of the hunt is fun alone, it can be even more fun with others. M'laiboli is always happy to group up for a hunt or a particular involved duty. Anything really to get the blood pumping.

  • It Was All Fun And Games... - M'laiboli is always up for a challenge, whether it be a athletic or just a game. She might not be very good at the latter, but she's always happy to give it a shot! ...And maybe get a little too competitive in the process.

  • May I have this dance? - A bard playing a good tune by the Aetheryte? Some funky music playing in a tavern? You'll find M'laiboli cheering along and tapping away to the beat. And if an attractive stranger were to come during that music and ask M'laiboli to dance? Well, then who would she be if she denied them~?

  • May I buy you a drink? - M'laiboli is a girl that is easy to please. A mug of ale and an interesting story to tell is a good way to keep her attention. Who knows? Maybe you'll even get a story or two out of her.

  • Always Learning Something New - You got a specialized skill? A secret hunting ground? A neat party trick? M'laiboli wants to know, and is always excited to learn something new. An easy way to catch her attention is showing her something she's never seen before.

  • Hi, my name is Amber, and it's a pleasure to meet you! c:

  • While I have an extensive history in Proboards, table top, Tumblr, Skype, and Discord rps, this is my first time trying an MMORP format. So, I ask that you please be patient with me as I learn the ins and outs. 🙏

  • I can do short or detailed rps--I'm good for whatever seems most appropriate for the scene. Be warned for more detailed rps, though, that I am a slow typer. I'll always try to respond as quickly as I can.

  • As for availability, while I do play sporadically through the week, the best time to catch me for an rp is on the weekends! Typically, the most common day I will be available is Sunday from 11 AM to 6 PM EST.

  • Please keep in mind that I am not interested in engaging in any ERP at this time! While M'laiboli can flirt, and is not closed to the idea of flings, any agreed upon tryst with M'laiboli will be strictly fade-to-black or OOCly discussed/negotiated.
